An Exceptionally Rare Gilt Metal Thread Embroidered on Henna or Ginger Coloured Silk Velvet Saddle Fragment or Horse Cloth Decorated with Carnation, Rosettes flowers, The borders with pomegranates, Probably Istanbul-Turkey, Circa 17th. Century.
Of a rectangular form the decorations used as a diffusion or spread style of various types of ottoman preferred flowers, such as tulips, carnations, hyacinths, rosebuds, honey suckles, other popular motives were also used such as rumi, Hatayi, saz leaf motives and pomegranate fruits.
