Sumatran Filigree Silver, Filigree Silver Lidded Round Box With Enamelled Silver Decoration, Padang-West Sumatra And Batavia (Jakarta), Dutch East Indies, Indonesia, Circa 1700.
Of a circular form, this filigree box was probably modeled on a Chinese example and was probably made in Padang west Sumatra and was probably enameled in Batavia and was probably used as a betel nut container.
