Of A typical shape and design to the most common and original type of the 16th century blue & white tiles which were probably made, decorated and fired at the ceramic kilns of Damascus or Aleppo in Syria, whereas in our current example the artist had cleverly decided to use the same design but with different and more vibrant colours.

Excellent, The Base Is Unmarked but the reddish Jerusalem earthenware is quite visible.
