Description

A Beautiful & Rare Ottoman Mother of Pearl, Tortoiseshell, Horn, Ebony & Ivory, Overlaid On Wood Quran Stand (Kursi).

Of a typical X shaped while the Kursi is wide open folding form with two rectangular hinged wooden parts fixed together.

Both the upper exposed interior and the exterior parts of the item are decorated with geometrical and six similar central palmette with floral motifs depicting a full blossoming tulip flower, one on each exposed surface.

The exposed two lower slope shaped surfaces of the base are decorated with open work arched legs sections which are mainly made out of veneered ebony wood and outlined with very thin sliced pieces of ivory.

2.6 cm is the depth while the Kursi is folded.
